For centuries, the endlessly-tiling geometrical patterns of Arabesque architecture have symbolized the infinite nature of the universe. In this texture pack, they’re a reflection of the limitless worlds generated by Minecraft. Patterns inspired by Moorish, Persian, and Arabian motifs are most evident in sandstone, brick, glass, iron and gold blocks, lapis lazuli, and lightstone.
Other features:
- Custom animated water and lava
- Omni-tiling tapestries
- "Resonating" block damage animation
- Sand has ripples; obsidian has luster; gravel has depth
- Pine foliage has brown branches; birches have "stands" of multiple trunks
- Cake has pistachio nuts and rose petals
Instructions
To install a texture pack, the file must first be obtained in a ZIP format. Without decompressing the file, place the ZIP file in:
- Windows XP/Vista/7: %AppData%\.mincraft\texturepacks
- Linux: ~/.minecraft/texturepacks
- Mac OS X: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/texturepacks
This path can be opened by using the Open Texture Pack Folder button from the game client. Once a texture pack is installed, it can be selected in the Mods and Texture Packs screen accessible from the main menu, but not while a world is currently open.

This looks like it has a lot of potential. Looking forward to testing this on my desert cities.
